PollinERA project materials displayed at ICE2024

From 25 to 30 August 2024, PollinERA was featured at the 27th International Congress of Entomology (ICE2024), hosted at the Kyoto International Conference Center in Japan. The event welcomed 4,041 participants from more than 80 countries and featured a total of 2,817 presentations across a wide range of topics. 

With the congress theme ‘New Discoveries through Consilience’, ICE2024 provided an important international platform to share research, exchange expertise, and highlight scientific advancements, including efforts to protect pollinators.

As part of its outreach and dissemination activities, PollinERA showcased a selection of promotional materials aimed at informing attendees about the project. Displayed promotional materials included:

  • Two-pager
  • Flyers with all study species illustrations
  • A wide range of stickers
  • Bookmarks

PollinERA materials displayed at ICE2024 

The presence at the congress provided a great opportunity to engage with researchers, stakeholders, industry representatives and the interested audience. 

ICE2024 was co-hosted by the Science Council of Japan and attended by their Imperial Highnesses, Crown Prince and Crown Princess Akishino, along with local and national government representatives. The next International Congress of Entomology is set to take place in Cape Town, South Africa, in 2028.
