PollinERA materials were displayed at three recent project meetings in Europe, with intention to expose project to wider audience. These meetings included the WildPosh Annual General Meeting in Paris, the AGRI4POL Kick-off Meeting in Brussels, and the VALOR Kick-off Meeting in Reading, all held during the beginning of 2025.
At the WildPosh Annual General Meeting, hosted by ANSES in Paris, more than 40 representatives from partner organisations met to discuss the past year’s work and plans for the future. PollinERA materials were on display to underline the synergetic approach between two projects.
In Brussels, PollinERA materials were also presented during the AGRI4POL Kick-off Meeting, hosted by coordinating institution INRAE. The AGRI4POL is a new Horizon Europe project that aims to assist the transition of agriculture from being a pressure on pollinators to becoming a positive force for biodiversity, crop pollination services, ecosystems and people.
The VALOR Kick-off Meeting, held in Reading and hosted by the coordinating institution University of Reading, also included PollinERA materials. VALOR is a multi-actor initiative that will develop a comprehensive, systems-based approach to gaining a better understanding of the cascading impacts of pollinator shifts from flower to fork and beyond. The project will examine the effects of pollinator shifts on ecosystems, farm businesses, and local communities through primary research and modelling.
These events gave PollinERA an opportunity to connect with other Horizon Europe projects, build new links, and support shared goals for pollinator health.
