PollinERA's second social media campaign shows promising results

PollinERA's second social media campaign shows promising results

From 4 August to 1 September, PollinERA ran a social media campaign across Bluesky, Instagram and LinkedIn to introduce the project's consortium to a wider audience.  As reported for the period 4 August-3 September, the snapshot results show that the campaign recorded 4,706 impressions, 722 engagements, 517 clicks and 187 likes on its social media channels.

In this context, impressions indicate the total number of times posts were displayed on users' screens; they do not represent unique people reached. Engagements capture all forms of interaction, such as likes, comments and shares, and clicks. The number of 517 clicks is particularly meaningful, as it shows that many users were motivated to explore further following tagged partner institutions.

For science communication and PollinERA's 2nd campaign, these results are encouraging. Social media campaigns help make research more visible, accessible and relatable. Introducing the consortium is especially valuable as it highlights the institutions behind the work, strengthening collaboration.

This was the second in a series of planned campaigns; the future activity will explore the faces behind these institutions.
